Atlanta, Georgia. – The Atlanta Pride Committee (APC) announced today that they are launching a brand new way to enjoy the 43rd annual Atlanta Pride Festival, by bringing attendees the opportunity to experience the weekend as a VIP!
This new “Atlanta Pride VIP Festival Pass” provides the following:
· Admission to the VIP/Sponsor Party on October 11, 2013, at the Oceans Ballroom of the Georgia Aquarium from 6-8p
· Use of the Kaiser Permanente VIP Hospitality Center at Piedmont Park on October 12-13, 2013
· Use of the Celebrity Cruises VIP Seating Area at Piedmont Park on October 12-13, 2013
With this pass, the holder will be admitted to the exclusive VIP/Sponsor party that takes place in the Oceans Ballroom of the Georgia Aquarium immediately prior to the Kickoff Party.
The Kaiser Permanente VIP Hospitality Center will be located near the 12th Street Gate of Piedmont Park and is open from 11a-5p on October 12 and from 3-6p on October 13. The Kaiser Permanente VIP Hospitality Center will include:
· Private, badge-access only indoor center at the Piedmont Park Visitor Center
· Private restroom facilities
· Complimentary snacks and beverages
The Celebrity Cruises VIP Seating Area is located in the Meadow of Piedmont Park in front of the Coca-Cola Stage and is open from 2-9p on October 12 and from 3-9p on October 13. The Celebrity Cruises VIP Seating Area will include:
· Private, badge-access only outdoor center in the Meadow
· VIP festival experience
· Private restroom facilities
· Private cash bar
· Complimentary snacks
· Tented and fenced enclosure with tables and seating
· Fenced beer garden enclosure
· Raised seated platform to view the stage
Buck Cooke, Executive Director, said of the new pass, “APC is excited to offer a new way for community members to experience our festival. As our festival has grown and expanded, we want to offer a more robust VIP experience for our supporters.” Cooke continued, “The Kaiser Permanente VIP Hospitality Center has long been an asset to the festival experience, but the addition of the Celebrity Cruises VIP Seating Area enables us to extend that experience to the Meadow and enhance the enjoyment attendees who purchase the VIPFestival Pass can have while watching talent perform on the Coca-Cola Stage.” He added, “Of course, having access to the VIP/Sponsor party as a part of our Kickoff Party at the Georgia Aquarium will give our guests the opportunity to interact with people in a more exclusive setting, which is a nice touch for anyone attending the event.” Finally he noted, “We would also like to thank our sponsors Celebrity Cruises and Kaiser Permanente for making these festival elements possible this year.”

Attendees can purchase a single VIP Festival Pass or a packet of two VIP Festival Passes:
One pass - $175.00 online, $200.00 onsite (subject to availability) Includes:
· One ticket to the VIP/Sponsor Party on October 11
· One VIP Festival Badge (used to access Kaiser Permanente VIP Hospitality Center and Celebrity Cruises VIP Seating Area) for October 12-13
Two passes – $325.00 online, $350.00 onsite (subject to availability) Includes:
· Two VIP Festival Badges (used to access Kaiser Permanente VIP Hospitality Center and Celebrity Cruises VIP Seating Area) for October 12-13
· Two tickets to the VIP/Sponsor Party on October 11
· One parking pass for each day of the festival on October 12-13 (provides parking at a nearby parking deck)
A portion of the price for the VIP Festival Pass will be a tax-deductible contribution to charity.
