Atlanta, Georgia. – The Atlanta Pride Committee (APC) announced the details today for the lineup of their Coca-Cola Main Stage during the 2015 Atlanta Pride Festival.
Festivalgoers will be treated to a high-energy line up that will have the stage pumping with dynamic performances all weekend long! From perennial favorite, the Michel Jons Band, who will liven up the park immediately following the parade on Sunday, to the iconic dance songs of Sister Sledge; and from red-hot R. City- who are sure to perform their monster hit, “Locked Away” (featuring Maroon 5’s Adam Levine) to chart-topping duo, A Great Big World, following their 2014 album, “Is There Anybody Out There?” featuring the power ballad with Christina Aguilera, “Say Something,” to Rachel Platten with her uplifting anthem, “Fight Song;” the 2015 Coca-Cola stage will have everyone dancing and singing along throughout the entire festival weekend!
APC Executive Director, Jamie Fergerson, said of the schedule, “We are proud to offer such an impressive line up for the 2015 Coca-Cola Stage. It is exciting to be able to bring such high quality and diverse entertainment to the festival; and to be able to do so with it being absolutely free to attendees is a great testament to our community and corporate support alike. While many other large Pride celebrations have moved to ticketing portions of their festival, Atlanta Pride is committed to keeping access to the festival and our entertainment free of charge.”
Fergerson added, “Of course we are also excited to continue the tradition of closing out the festival with the beloved Starlight Cabaret. After a weekend of great performances from artists well known and nationally recognized, there’s no better way to top that off than with our local community stepping up with talented and entertaining drag performances!”
The Coca-Cola Stage is located at the top of the Meadow at 10th St. near the Charles Allen Gate in Piedmont Park.
